- Understand proper 99mTc-pyrophosphate (PYP)
cardiac imaging Procedures - Standardize testing protocols, reporting, and
image interpretation

- Understand the non-cardiac neurologic clinical
clues among patients with ATTR-CM (e.g.,
Autonomic neuropathy, peripheral neuropathy,
peripheral sensory motor dysfunction, and
orthostatic hypotension)
Advanced HF Nurses
- Understand and identify ATTR-CM red flags in
patients and navigate pursuit lists - Serve as patient champions, liaising between
the HF doctor, the patient, and improving access
to care

- Understand clinical presentation of common
gastrointestinal symptoms of ATTR-CM

- Provide counseling to patients and families
- Understand genetic testing and screening

- Partner closely with cardiology to perform
differential diagnosis between ATTR-CM and AL
amyloidosis - Ensure proper tests are ordered and AL rule out
is done correctly - Evaluate patients with abnormal monoclonal
protein for possibility of AL or ATTR-CM
